Hi! I’m Tanya
Thanks for coming to my page! I am a self-taught baker and cake designer who found a passion for creating custom cakes and sweets. Unlike a lot of bakers out there, I didn’t grow up in the kitchen baking. I don’t have a treasure of family recipes and I have absolutely no background in baking before 2018. After seeing an interest from many people wanting cakes and the joy they had when they would try them, I turned my hobby into a business and started Sugah Rush.
Sugah by Tanya is known for its elegant, colorful and custom buttercream cakes, freshly baked sweet treats and delicious creative cupcakes. I strive to provide my valued customers with quality, made from scratch treats that keep them coming back for more. My custom treats are great for any occasion and are baked to order. I would love to make your special occasion even more extraordinary using my artistic ability, custom designs, and quality ingredients.
I have been married to my husband Josh since 2016. Josh is an Army Veteran and a Firefighter. I reside in the Boston area with him and my son Logan. When not baking, I spend all my time with my son who is the light of my life! I alsoI love to stay active. My other favorite hobbies include hiking, biking, crafts, creating healthy recipes and anything that includes the outdoors.
*Fun Fact - The name Sugah sounded like a perfect name for my business. To make it a little different and special, I (who was born and raised in the Boston area) wrote out sugar as I would say it (sug-AH) because we all know people from Boston don’t pronounce their R’s!
